e have some specific projects we're aiming for:
1. Instrument refurbishment
Most of our chimes are about 20 years old, and three of them have developed micro cracks in them this year, which makes the chime sound flat or jangly. Each chime costs $25 - $100 to refurbish. As soon as this year is over, we need to send in an additional chime to be fixed.
We also have a couple of bells that have developed an extra ring (ha--a metallic sound that shouldn't be there). Each bell costs $50 - $200 to refurbish.
2. Bell rests
Our bass bell ringers often have to mallet their bells quickly with both hands, and the bells tend to rotate, which makes them sound worse gradually until the ringer can re-situate them. We would love to get 3-5 of these rests for quick malleting passages. They cost @$18 each.
3. New music
4. New tables
5. Replacement cases to replace old cases that are gradually coming apart

3. New music
- Each new piece costs around $40 to purchase parts for the whole group
- Check out our Future Pieces page to see what we might buy next
4. New tables
- Some of our tables are getting old and broken-down. We have replaced two that lost important metal parts.
- New tables are about $40 - $50. We could use up to three new tables.
5. Replacement cases to replace old cases that are gradually coming apart
- $450-$610
- (Specifically the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th octave cases have buckles that are in various states of disrepair.)
