1. What kind of life would Robinson Crusoe have had if he had obeyed his father and remained at home?
2. What makes Crusoe forget his vow to return home if God saves him from the first storm?
3. Consider the events that are happening at the end of the reading selection. What does Xury do to help Robinson? Why does he want to help?
